Polymer Scientist & ResearcherAs a polymer physicist, I am passionate about solving real-world problems related to sustainability and the circular economy, such as plastic upcycling, ocean plastic degradation, and other sustainability challenges. In the eight years since beginning my Ph.D., I have developed a track record of leveraging my technical skills to design innovative solutions that address complex challenges.My research focuses on developing novel theories to understand the mechanics and dynamics of polymeric and glassy materials on a fundamental level. I use molecular dynamics simulations and collaborations with experiments to build data-driven models to predict macroscopic properties, such as the yield strain of glasses or the toughness of compatibilized polymer blends.In addition to my technical expertise, I am a skilled communicator and collaborator with experience working in cross-functional teams and presenting my research across various audiences. I am committed to using my skills and expertise to impact society positively.
