• Deliver LPG product to our customers in a safe, efficient, cost effective and timely manner.• Produce distribution schedules to meet daily demand and continually review and update schedules planned vs. actual to reflect market and operational/equipment changes. • E-Plan – maintaining customer database for scheduled delivery groups.• Liaise with customers and meet their expectations at all times in a safe and timely manner.• Direct Route – Planning, mapping and creating driver schedules. • Oversee work and improve schedules in a cost effective manner.• Driver fatigue management - Ensure runs created do not exceed the maximum hours permitted in a day, week or fortnight for all drivers under my control. • Plan driver rest breaks and long breaks.• Create a weekly violation report for all my drivers.• V-Track - Monitor drivers via satellite tracking and following up on breaches e.g. speeding, rest breaks etc. Communicate with drivers when breaches do occur and investigate reason. If breaches continue processes are followed and escalated to Management• Ensure no stock outs - If stock outs do occur investigate why and ensure a procedure is put into place to avoid re-occurrence• Utilize fleet in an efficient, safe and cost effective manner for both clients and KHG• Utilize mas managed trailers in areas where maximum payload can be obtained. Obtain mass management for vehicles without maximum payload.• Load share - Balance out load share month by month.• Lift product from most cost effective source points as prices move and upon request from supply KHG manager.• Run down stock in depots when prices are expected to fall.• Ensure depots are at tank tops when prices are expected to rise.• Liaise with other coordinators to ensure tankers are not delivering to the same areas where possible, saving kilometers and money.
