Services are provided in day services, day community services, residential group home, supervised apartments, integrated residential and vocational training settings. Across the spectrum of medical needs, DakotAbilities’ 125-units serve the most medically needy clientele with more than 2,600 medication passes each day. Services are provided at two vocational work sites, nineteen residential sites, and multiple community-based work sites across the Sioux Falls community. The organization has 240 employees, 125-units of residential services (operating at capacity), and annual revenues of $11 million.

Children’s Care also has a separately incorporated 501(c)(3) foundation and a taxable not-for-profit durable medical equipment company. Services include rehabilitative and medical needs for children with multiple disabilities including cerebral palsy, autism, behavioral disorders, as well as special education services not available through local school systems.
