I am the Founding Partner, and a Wealth Manager, at Riverside Wealth Advisors, LLC, serving families and businesses around the country. Prior to joining Riverside Wealth Advisors, I was a Senior Manager/Financial Representative with North Florida Financial for 11 years. After graduating from Georgia State University in 1978, I earned a Masters of Divinity and Doctorate of Ministry from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. I served as Pastor for churches in Georgia and Florida from 1979 to 2004, when I retired from local church ministry. Since becoming a Wealth Manager, I have helped hundreds of families and businesses chart their financial future and view it as a continuation of ministry. I have various professional designations and I am licensed to place a variety of investment and insurance products, including life, disability, and long-term care insurance, as well as retirement accounts, college education funding, managed accounts, and mutual funds. I have qualified consistently as a member of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT). My licenses include Series 6, 7, 63, and 65. Not only am I passionate about the financial industry, I am passionate about the causes and institutions close to my heart. I serve on the Advisory Council of Haven Hospice and am a member of the Rotary Club of Palatka. I presently serve on the Board of Directors at Rodeheavers Boys Ranch and the Putnam County Chamber of Commerce. I served on the Board of Directors for Covenant Hospice of Pensacola, Florida for 13 years and 6 years on the Board of Directors for Council on Aging. I have also served on the Board of Directors of Baptist Hospital, N.W. Florida Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Pensacola Downtown Rotary, and on the Superintendent of Schools Advisory Council. I have received civic awards, including the Volunteer of the Year Award from Putnam County Schools. I am very active at my church, where I teach Sunday school, preach, and serve on the Administration Council. I enjoy spending time with my wife, Angela in our home on the St. Johns River. I have two sons, John and Stephen. Collectively I have been blessed with 3 granddaughters and 1 grandson, with whom I enjoy spending time any chance I get. If I'm not working you can be sure my family and I will be out boating. In fact I enjoy most water sports. You can also catch me in the air or on the ground as I love to travel. If I can snow ski, I'm there!
