The value proposition is sharing a valuable resource with in-depth knowledge to assist in drug monitoring and evaluation with the most safe and effective medications that are also cost-effective. I am an innovative leader who has transformed pharmacies and other departments by introducing Lean principles, automation, implementing modern management practices, improving patient satisfaction, quality care, multidisciplinary team building, and producing excellent financials. I have a developed teams that have distinguished these Departments as some of the highest performing departments in those Hospitals.Improving the hospital pharmacy involves the implementation of new systems, processes and equipment including, Lean principles, Bed-side Medication Verification, Computerized Physician Order Entry, Robotics, and 21st century Supply-chain. Education and Clinical Research are also major responsibilities as a pharmacy leader, clinician and administrator. I have helped train hundreds of Pharmacists, Physicians and Students, Interns at all levels. Research is another enduring commitment to further advance the role of the Pharmacist. I have participated on several Institutional Review Boards and continues as a member of the IRB at Boston University Medical School/Boston Medical Center since 2003.Throughout my career, I have been actively involved with the State and National professional organizations by serving in various elected and appointed positions.
