In my new capacity in an upper-senior role, 主事 in Japanese, I was developing new courses and advising on cutting-edge ideas utilizing presentation and programming in emerging learning markets with high growth potential. Part of a team with upper-management from our parent company KDDI, we focused on accelerating English education through the intersection of English and technology for a new on-line platform. I created and produced original demonstration videos on creative learning for potential use on the platform. My manager and I were spearheading an integrated study abroad program with pre-departure lessons for life abroad. I developed more personalized lessons for corporate clients in the pharmaceutical industry to fit the clients' needs. I maintained my regular teaching and lead role at the school, and helped keep student retention levels in the face of the Covid-19 crisis by adapting our regular lessons to online.

As Program Coordinator, I led the school team and we developed a program with more emphasis on 4-Skills and Communicative language learning. Our innovative and intensive cirriculum led to higher retention rates and student satisfaction. Students achieved better test results, successful career changes, and increased acceptance into schools aboard. I organized the school curriculum in consultation with the team, developed more academic-based classes, and created original materials and content. I provided more detailed student evaluations using data to track their progress, and gave ongoing student care through counselling and career path guidance. I helped with the management side by stepping up my role in interviewing and orienting prospective students, and strategizing to increase the number of new sign-ups. I taught courses on TOEIC and TOEFL at Nagoya University of Foreign Studies, created intensive English training for new company employees, and continued my corporate lessons at top companies in Aichi.I took part in a study abroad fair and conducted a seminar on how to study like a pro to a full-house and received lots of positive feedback. I was involved in teacher training seminars, mentoring and inspiring junior teachers to continue their careers in Japan. I organized and created various special events, including English Day Camps that incorporated science, math and social studies into English learning, with a high student return rate. I further developed the High School seminar that led to it being adopted in other regions, and conducted larger-scale seminars on TOEIC reading and writing. I organized an English pub event in addition to the yearly bus tour. I conducted interviews for new Japanese recruits entering the company in order to evaluate their English level and judge their fit with the company culture.

I became the main instructor at the new Nagoya Head School. I was results-oriented and pushed my students to improve their English to a higher degree. I motivated and mentored my students in a more personal way. I assisted many students in reaching their goals of entering top universities in Japan, like Waseda, and abroad, like the Berklee College of Music. I prepared all original classes using textbook leaders in ESL from NGL to Pearson. I looked after junior instructors, and coordinated events for younger learner. I interviewed prospective students, did student counselling, and performed daily school routines with the system database. I continued to develop and conduct various seminars for teacher training, spartan English, TOEIC and the High School seminar for university entrance for the Education department. I organized English bus tours where student and teachers could enjoy English together. I continued to teach my corporate clients and established long-term relationships with them.

In a new role as one of the teachers at Aeon Central Japan's specialized full-time English school, unique to its kind in the company, I taught original lessons that moved beyond the core lessons at branch schools. I taught English to business professionals and university students in target fields and industries, like the automobile industry, after establishing a relationship with the Corporate division. My lessons in both these roles included conversational English, grammar in communication, reading and vocabulary building, email writing, business English, and a special class for high level professional students. I conducted seminars for improving TOEIC, an internationally recognized English test, and a high school seminar to prepare students for university entrance exams. These new responsibilities were in conjunction with my duties as an Emergency teacher. I became a senior member of the Education Department and was trusted by many of my fellow employees.

I was promoted and continued my career at Aeon with the Education Department in Central Japan. I provided business support and student care to branch schools. I successfully improved the overall atmosphere and conditions of many schools, and helped them reach their monthly financial goals. I also established strong working relationships with senior members of the Education Department. I worked on making new teaching material for our core lessons and created quizzes for high school students entering university. I also expanded my teaching skill set to include teaching kids of all ages. I continued to empower students by helping them to acquire English in order to better their lives.

I started my career in the city of Gifu. I really triggered my passion for teaching English because I was able to connect deeply with students and felt the joy of empowering them with the ability to communicate in English. I taught adult lessons with high attendance rates, increased the sales of supplemental English learning products, provided ongoing student care, and interviewed prospective students.

Previously, I was the office manager for a small tutoring agency (2004) where I interacted with incoming students, looked after other tutors, and organized basic payroll management using Microsoft Excel.

I was a freelance teacher predominantly specializing in high school math and science. I taught students from St. George's Senior School, one of Vancouver's most prestigious private schools, and helped them to enter the university of their choice. I offered after-school instruction in general science and math, calculus, BC university entrance prep, SAT prep, ESL, essay writing and TOEFL prep. I worked with tutoring agencies to expand my reach. I created a special summer program in science and math preparing incoming ESL students entering the regular BC school system for the first time.
