Bob joined Silver Peak in 2015 to drive adoption of Software Defined WAN at global Communications Service Providers (CSPs). In 2020 Silver Peak was acquired by Aruba, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company. As product manager, responsibilities include new feature management across the product, tools for sales enablement, security, SIRT, FIPS, Common Criteria, and global service provider managed services and integration. In 2015, Bob was at CrossFiber as VP Business Development. CrossFiber is a west coast based, private company which builds photonic switching systems targeted at content service providers and communications service providers. Bob joined Ciena 1996 while the company was still a small start up. Bob played a key role in building the customer pipeline and sales engineering organizations to support the growing business.Bob has a Masters of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Rutgers University, College of Engineering. He is a member of the IEEE.
