I have been in and around the building trades since the mid '70s. I started working with my Grandfather as a pre teen and began an apprenticeship in the finish trades in my early teens. He was much more than just a tradesman/artisan, he was a philosopher, a teacher/mentor and a giver of life. He had a way of giving life to every person, place and thing around him. It is an inspiration and an eternal quality that I embrace every day.
