As CEO of Broe Real Estate Group, Mr. Jacobs was directly responsible for developing and executing investment strategies, acquisitions, dispositions, asset management, property management, leasing, capital raising activities and all operational activities within the group. Mr. Jacobs has been involved in billions of dollars of acquisitions, dispositions, both directly owned and with operating partners, institutional programmatic equity joint ventures, separate accounts, and first mortgage and mezzanine debt issues. Under Mr. Jacobs’ leadership, Broe Real Estate produced a weighted average 45%+ IRR (verified by KPMG) in over 100 assets over 31 years of investing in commercial real estate. Mr. Jacobs has successfully invested in a diverse set of asset classes and risk/return profiles (core, core plus, value-add, opportunistic and distress) across multiple markets throughout the United States over multiple market cycles.Mr. Jacobs earned a Masters of Business Administration from Southern Illinois University.
