Director Of Apprenticeship And Education
CurrentResponsible for the successful leadership and management of the Apprenticeship and Education Trusts according to the strategic direction set by the Trustees. Key duties and responsibilities include:-Ensure that the operation of the organization meets the needs and expectations of the Trustees, Industrial stakeholders and the Members of Lodge 146.-Developing a vision and strategic plan to guide the organization-Foster effective team work within the Apprenticeship and Education Departments-Oversee the efficient and effective day-to-day operation of the organization-Oversee the planning, implementation and evaluation of the organization's programs and services-Determine staffing requirements for organizational management and program delivery-Recruit, interview and select staff that have the right technical and personal abilities to help further the organization's mission-Work with staff and the Trustees to prepare a comprehensive budget and to secure adequate funding for the operation of the Education and Apprenticeship funds-Administer the funds of the organization according to the approved budget and monitor the monthly cash flow of the organization-Approve expenditures within the authority delegated by the Trustees-Provide the Trustees with comprehensive, regular reports on the revenues and expenditure of the organization-Establish a healthy working relationships and collaborative arrangements with community groups, training institutes, and other organizations to help achieve the goals of the training trust funds
