Managed the Home & Community Based Services (HCBS) provider monitoring program in the Greater Philadelphia market for the Commonwealth of PA's Dept. of Public Welfare & Office of Long-Term Living. My role included managing a team of 9 Quality Assurance professionals (comprised of Registered Nurses, Financial Reps., & Social Workers). The program aims to increase regulatory compliance within the HCBS provider network. Strategic partnerships with the Bureau of Financial Operations and Bureau of Program Integrity are focused on identifying and reducing Financial Fraud & Abuse in Medicaid/Medicare programs in Pennsylvania.

Performed on-site regulatory audits for healthcare providers that offer HCBS (Home & Community Based Services) in the greater Philadelphia area. Developed protocols for financial reviews of HCBS providers for Dept. of Public Welfare's Office of Long-Term Living. As Financial Representative, worked with Registered Nurses and Social Workers to gather complete information on each healthcare provider reviewed in region. Findings of audits were documented and communicated to internal and external stakeholders.
