Leading the pricing team for Corbion’s North America business.

In this role I'm responsible for the procurement activities of our core raw material commodities, soybean oil, corn, wheat and energy in North America.

Heading the NPR procurement team in Thailand. Core responsibilities; Training & developing 2 direct reports. Outlining and implementing category strategies, in correspondence with global procurement team and stakeholders. Deliver on globally set KPI's, incl. significant savings projects. Create and implement project pipeline. CAPEX projects Thailand. Maintain and develop relationships with key business partners.

At CSM's divsion Purac I was active as a Chemical Buyer for the production plant in Gorinchem. Stratregic purchasing, sourcing and contract management were my core tasks during this period. Next to that, I supported the procurement department on food and pharma audit readiness. Lastly, I was involved in multiple CAPEX projects dealing with contract negotiations and preparations. Key development areas; strategic sourcing, contract management and negotiation skills.

My professional career at Corbion, formerly known as CSM Nederland B.V. started as a procurement trainee. During my 2 year traineeship I was given 4 assignment each for a period of 6 months, in both PR and NPR (indirect).
