As a young man working with my Grandfather on the farm I learned many things. First, that farmers are engineers in many fields. From Agriculture to Mechanics and even Social Services. But I know I wanted to design and build structures that would be around for many years. So I, along with a friend, joined the our local Carpenters Union. That experience has been invaluable to me in many ways, from understanding how to manage crews of men and women to project management and finance. So when it was time to continue my education I was sure I wanted to teach people how to build their own home or business and how to maintain it. As the years rolled by and construction materials changed and the planet changed, it also changed the way we think when it comes to energizing a structure and the materials we use to build it. I currently enjoy watching someone investing their "sweat equity and pride" in their project. And knowing that they are passing along their newly acquired knowledge to their friends and family.
