I assist on building of new direction of studies, i.e. Geoinformatics and Remote Sensing with my 30 years experience in the fields of LIS (Land Information Systems), GIS (Geographic Information Systems), SDI(Spatial Data Infrastructures), VHR(Very High Resolution Satellite Imaging, and processing of satellite imagery), LIDAR (Aerial, Terrestrial and Mobile Laser Scanning), CityGML, interoperability, Best Practices in Digital infromation on Spatial Development Plans, Detection Change, Permanent Change Monitoring (PCM)

National Centre for Nuclear Research has experience in managing BIG DATA, coming from large scale European R&D Infrastructures, including data from Large hadron Collider (LHC), cooperation on XFEL/Desy or just recently becoming to cooperate in LSST (Large Synoptic Space Telescope), We also experiment with LIDAR data sets of ISOK Project (Informatic System of the State for Extraordinary Threads) which cover almost entire territory of Poland, with density of up to 12 points/m.sq. for urban areas.There are obvious associations of various 3D/4D/5D aspects of : 3D/4D visualization of particles, holography, laser scanning, 3D/4D/5D data representations, 3D modelling (CityGML), BIM (Building Information Modelling), OBIA (Object-based Image Analysis), Standardization, Interoperability, Cadaster 3D, LADM, learning process of neural networks, COLLADA, I am finding logical common fields of these areas and to find application niches with huge potential.

I have contributed to creation of Inter-State Goup of geospatial information of Poland and Ukraine, chaired by Vice-Prime Ministers of Poland and of Ukraine. Group supports the government of Ukraine to assist them in land reform and development of National Geospatial Information Infrastructure of Ukraine. EUropean Commission, SDI Unit of DG JRC provided scholarship to UKrainian delegate to assist to Ukraine in INSPIRE Directive implementaion.

Idea of Baltic Centre of Geographic Information Systems (BALTIC CENTRE of GIS) have grown in my heart for several years. Initially we have convinced several GIS Companies, like ESRI, ERDAS, AUTOMETRICS to support it. We had however some problems with its deployment. Finally it started to act as a partof Agency for Regional Development of Gdansk Region, in 1996 and I remmember, that we have transformed it into LLC in 1999. It have realized the first project of superimposition of cadastral maps of Czluchow County (Powiat), back in 1999-2000 with production of orthophotomaps and building synergies in order to implement County GIS System. Incomes of Baltic Centre of GIS grew steadily, while I have managed this company together with good friend of mine, Teresa Kwiatkowska and Andrzej Polak.We have realized contract from production of 50 000 km sq. of orthophotomap of Poland from IKONOS satellite, acting as Baltic Centre of GIS. Together with Teresa we have lead to signature of investment agreement with one of largest Polish IT companies - TECHMEX SA, equal to almost million US dollars , in 2001, which allowe us to grow faster. Baltic Centre of GIS is the entity I am the most proud in my life. That was a small team of less than 20 persons, but very special ones, including Cezary Misiun, Arek Kowalczyk, Leszek Skrzpczyk, Iza Gorecka, Blazej Buczylko, to mention just a few most brilliant ones.

I have been one of co-founders of Geosystems, together with Witold Fedorowicz-Jaskowwski its founder and CEO. I have participated in th elaboration of grant agreement of :I ntegrated Information System of Agricultural Production Space of Poland, which have layed the grounds for LPIS and IACS Systems Implementation in Poland. In the result of it I have been asked by former Deputy Minister of Agriculture to prepare documents for Council of Ministers for the first phase of IACS Implementaiton ( 90 million euro), in Dec. 1999

Since I have stayed for a quite bit of time in Barcelona, I have a lot of colleagues there in the field of architecture and urban planning. Since I have falled in love in Barcelona in 1985 (during my architectural studies) I have been able to sign an Agreement on Creation of Gdansk-Barcelona Society, which have been signed by Pasqual Maragall, the Mayor of Barcelona and the Mayor of Gdansk in 1990 year in presence of our first - democratically elected Prime Minister, Tadeusz Mazowiecki. That later on have helped to Gdansk to become one of first Polish Cities - belonging to EUROCITES network. I have concentrated on Land Information Systems issues due to very need of the City to establish exact Land and Geographic Information System of the City.
