Robert has been working as an insurance agent, broker and financial planner, general agent for multiple insurers with licenses including Life & Health, Property & Casualty, Series 6, 7 and 63. He holds professional designations including CLU, LUTCF and CLTC, and is also a NYS licensed Instructor for Insurance Continuing Education Programs. He has qualified several times for many professional awards such as Million Dollar Round Table, Leader’s conference and National Quality Service. Robert also served as an equity specialist specialized in retirement products for the MetLife Queens Financial Group, as committee member on the Advanced Chinese Marketing Advisory Committee and as the founding president of the Shanxi Association of USA, a “home” for the people from Shanxi, China since 1997. Robert’s professional knowledge, his unique experience and success has made him a financial services/retirement specialist featured by special financial programs in SinoVision and Phoenix TV, both popular Chinese TV’s, one in America and the other in Asia. Born and brought up in Yunnan China, Robert Jin graduated from Shanxi University with BA degree in English in 1982, from Zhejiang University with MA degree in Applied Linguistics in 1987, in China and from IUP (Indiana Univ. of PA) with another master’s degree, in Business Education in 1995. Prior to coming to study in U.S. in 1992, he taught at Southeast Univ.
