Lead a team of 52 finance teammates across our Consumer Tire Businesses in the US including the Original Equipment Tire Business, the Replacement Tire Business, Bridgestone Retail Operations (2,200 company owned retail stores), and Credit First National Association (limited charter bank which provides private label credit cards to our company owned stores and our independent dealers).

Head of Finance for $4B Retail Organization with 2,200 Firestone Complete Auto Care and Tires Plus locations nationally. Led a team of 30 teammates overseeing Financial Planning & Analysis, Business Support Finance, Store Operations Finance, M&A and Real Estate Finance and Financial Systems. As a key member of the senior leadership team, I was intimately involved in developing and executing both the short and long term strategy. During my time in this role, key wins included reversing several years of revenue declines, increases in in-house tire brand volumes, completion of three acquisitions and rolling out new staffing and labor model that drove $20M of improved productivity.

Lead region of 3,000 Team Members including 16 District Managers, 24 Commercial Sales People, 5 Regional Staff and 185 locations across 7 states. Responsible for all aspects of the business including customer experience, employee relations, product distribution, real estate portfolio, B2B customer relationship management, strategic contract negotiations and complete P&L ownership. Region has annual revenue of $385M and EBITDA of $51M.

Led team of 5 finance managers supporting SVP of Store Operations and his direct reports with a mission of driving sales and improving profitability. Responsible for store target setting, project investment analysis, financial reporting, providing visibility to value pools, teaching business acumen and creating a culture of analytics based performance management.

Recruited to design and build first field centered finance team in the company’s history. Proof of concept started as finance manager for an area of 7 regions and 76 districts and over time transitioned to finance director supporting the entire company.

Led a team of 11 finance professionals responsible for coordinating all P&L and balance sheet budgeting and forecasting for $35B domestic business which consisted of 1,200 locations, Bestbuy.com, five ancillary businesses and corporate support SG&A expenses.

Finance support for $4.5 billion territory consisting of 10 districts and 12 locations.

Controller for supply chain organization including warehouses and home Delivery. Performed all month end close processes, prepared financial statements, led monthly P&L and balance sheet reviews and regularly partnered with external auditors.

Responsible for all aspects of the capital investment process including setting annual hospital level budgets, tracking and approving of actual spend and reporting monthly to company leadership.
