429 (T) Sqn Chief Training Officer
Current CC-177 Globemaster Instructor Pilot; 429 Transport Squadron Chief Training Officer – Direct Training Section, ensure squadron training requirements are met, oversee On the Job Training Plan completion, select First Officers for Aircraft Commander upgrade, coordinate contracting and course loading of Pilot Initial Qualification Courses, establish Quarterly Pilot Training Points, ensure completion of pilot Routine Progress Reports by Squadron Instructor Pilot cadre; Instrument Check Pilot – Conduct annual Instrument Rating Tests, and recommend issuance of Instrument Rating to Sqn line pilots; Trainer Scheduler – Ensure currency, and training requirements are met and maintained by all squadron pilots; Duty Operations Officer – coordinate and allocate aircraft to missions, prepare Mission Acceptance and Launch Authority for authorization, ensure Diplomatic Clearances are in place for upcoming missions, facilitate transport of parts and personnel in support of Maintenance Repair Parties; Safely and effectively complete Domestic, Oceanic, and International flights in accordance with applicable Orders, Technical Orders, and Standard Operating Procedures while complying with Host Nation regulations; Conduct local, simulator and route training for Aircraft Commanders and First Officers; Communicate aircraft handling requirements with external agencies to ensure mission success; Work effectively in a multi-crew environment, to include crew coordination, crew member development, and task delegation.
