To connect disconnected youth with resources to college and career opportunities, I worked with the College and Career Transition Coordinator to execute departmental functions and build organizational capacity by developing and managing a student/alumni MailChimp newsletter, fundraising, social media management, lesson planning, participant case management, and building relationships with community partners and organizations.

I lead a conservation crew of 5 youth, alongside 1 co-lead, in conjunction with the U.S Forest Service in the Caddo-Womble District of Arkansas. My crew and I completed projects in water stream surveying, recreational area restoration, and fire line fertilizing. I was responsible for instructing the crew on daily activities and procedures, documenting progress, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and acting as a liaison of communication between the U.S Forest Service and Texas Conservation Corps.
