Finally leaving Sub-contracting I decided to start my own company, trying to source my own work from new build to complete roofing renovations. We have a team of five and to date is going well.

After around seven years working for someone, I decided to source two trainee roofers to take under my wing. I started my own gang and started to sub-contract work through Avonside at their Biggleswade branch. Within three years I became their biggest roofing gang with four other roofers working for me.

This is where I learnt my trade. I was taught by Nigel Carter a very respected roof tiler throughout the area. The main source of work was new build houses.
