Montrose Area Re-Development - Cooling WaterResponsible for small team with main process team redesigning the cooling water system. In addition to all usual process deliverables and responsibilities, the complex phasing of the upgrade work Pre-TAR, TAR, Post-TAR scheduling, plus opportunities to optimise the design, has meant close co-operation with Project Managment and Client engineers and Management over the course of the work. Design work is now heading to completion as start up of the BLP comes closer. Expect to be looking for a new opportunity Mid Oct 2016.

Westhill, Aberdeen

Cladhan tie back for Taqa - new flow line, including OPPS design, import heater, gas lift line plus associated chemicals and tie ins. In addition there has been some involvement in Discipline work - carrying out 2nd round interviews for new Process Graduates, completing technical audit of other Amec projects. Have now seen project through to completion. Lessons learned with senior Management (Client and Service side), demanning, punch listing, final as building and close out.

Kirkhill, Dyce & Admiral Court Aberdeen

Detail Design and Feed studies for potential subsea tie backs to the Dunlin Plaform (brownfield impact assessment), studies to look at moving to LP operation. Gas import project from FEED to completion and start up. Building up HAZOP chair experience, with 3 separate one day HAZOP's completed successfully. Currently supporting Fairfield and the Dunlin platform with seawater / firewater pump replacements and upgrades,as Lead engineer. Also working for Talisman on Flyndre and Auk projects as Principle Engineer (Brownfield Feed and Detail Design scopes).

Wellheads Place, Dyce

Started in 2003, became Lead in 2005, providing Process Engineering support to Chevron Alba and Captain. Work included brownfield studies and detail design, examples are gas import project, dissolved gas floatation units, conversion of water injection pump to PWRI service, addition of Magnacide injection facilities. As Lead I was responsible for the Design, the Process Team, (personality management) and all their Process Deliverables.
