Organic Industrial Base Modernization (OIB) Program Manager and liaison to both government and private stakeholders involved in Department of Defense (DoD) modernization efforts at 10 different facilities across the US. Led a core team of engineers to conduct assessments, design solutions, and oversee implementation to increase production efficiency and quality at OIB facilities. Designed a new engagement process for interacting with OIB modernization stakeholders to streamline outreach and create a repeatable procedure for developing new business with military arsenals and depots. This led to a 50% decrease in time between introductory meetings and performance of initial factory assessments. Drove expanded government strategy to research and create annual stakeholder mapping and outreach priorities for federal, state, and local stakeholders and organizations to expand and diversify MxD’s ecosystem, funding opportunities, and national brand recognition. Designed a new process for engaging long-term government stakeholders to ensure continued support for MxD efforts, resulting in a 25% increase in participation at MxD events. Represented MxD to DoD entities, government contractors, and advocacy groups during visits, meetings, and conferences. Managed government relationships to include weekly status meetings, senior executive preparation documents, and annual government taskers required by DoD, resulting in all requests being submitted on time and a strengthened relationship with the Office of the Secretary of Defense.

Personally managed contracts and acquisitions for projects worth over $2 million and the team’s operational budget during two six-month rotations to the Middle East; renegotiated and hired new vendors resulting in 40% savings across nine projects in three provinces. Designed and managed construction of a compound to house team, support personnel, and sensitive equipment; delivered on time and within $80,000 budget. Developed project approval framework in conjunction with USAID and US Department of State to expedite project approval and delivery in Yemen, this led to an increase from one project approved in six months to nine projects delivered in four.
