Served in a Joint billet as a Maritime Logistics Management/Operations Officer in the Programs and Services Division for the Directorate of Logistics (J4), United States Southern Command. Responsible for coordinating, drafting, implementing and providing strategic logistics policy guidance and direction to the assigned component commands, Standing Joint Task Forces, Security Cooperation Offices (SCOs), and subordinate commands operating in the U.S. Southern Command Area of Responsibility (AOR). Monitors the logistics information system and coordinates with the Logistics Plans Division on all current operational logistics impacts that may affect future logistics planning requirements. During contingency/crisis operations, monitors implementation and execution of logistics concepts of support. Provides oversight of logistics sustainment actions during crisis and contingency operations – including operational contracting support and theater fuel requirements. Coordinates and manages maritime logistics support to component commands and assigned forces during operations and exercises. Provides maritime logistics expertise during exercise and contingency planning groups. Provides maritime logistics advisement in the development and preparation of logistics concept of support annexes for plans and campaigns. Acts as the liaison with the maritime component with regard to classes of supply management, joint petroleum operations, fuel requirements, maintenance management, deployment and distribution, reception, staging and onward movement, and integration (RSO&I). Assists in the executing, tracking, and accounting of Acquisition and Cross-Servicing Agreement (ACSA) transactions.
Director Of Logistics
Responsible for planning and executing logistic requirements for expeditionary combat support throughout the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility. Commander Task Force 56 (CTF-56) supports nine different task groups including expeditionary combat, logistical support and combat service support forces. The mission of CTF-56 is to properly assign and manage Navy Expeditionary Combat Command (NECC) forces in theater. CTF-56 has several different task groups that fall under their command. These task groups include: Naval construction force, Navy explosive ordnance disposal, mobile diving and salvage, maritime expeditionary security forces, Navy expeditionary logistics support forces, combat camera, riverine squadrons, expeditionary intelligence units, maritime civil affairs teams and expeditionary training teams. CTF-56 task groups provide various services to the commands they are assigned to in Bahrain and throughout the region.

Analyzed problems and audited reports on mission activities and provided remedial action programmes where required.
