My research presents a primitive attempt to study and observe differences (if any) in pyrite: both textural & trace elements chemistry in four (4) different epithermal deposits (variables: host rocks, mineralization age, metamorphic grade & deformation) using traditional and modern analytical techniques (RL microscopy, SEM, EPMA & LA-ICP-MS) to assess the potential of pyrite as an exploration tool and to what extent???In the long term, I want to be a driving-force of efficient and sustainable exploration and exploitation of earth resources in the mineral and energy (renewable and non-renewable) industries globally. I also intend to mentor upcoming African geoscientists. I want to see different rocks from around the world⚒️If all I’m remembered for is being a good geologist, then I have done a very bad job with the rest of my life
