Directed the Marcellus and Utica regions with an emphasis on providing unique downhole chemical and delivery systems that dramatically improve the horizontal well and work over efficiencies. Responsible for hiring and leading a 20 person team as chemical operator crews for chemical hydration services. Oversaw a 13 million dollar revenue budget and managed the implementation of a safe and environmentally responsible operation enabling my time to focus on downhole chemical delivery and completions.Working together we safely delivered drilling and completion chemicals to 800+ natural gas wells throughout Marcellus and Utica shale regions successfully helping clients reduce their chemical consumption rates by over 25%. On my watch, we achieved a 50% increase in the operations equipment utilization rate and integrated chemical dosing and pump data into a customized data capture and transfer system, generating a 20% improvement in chemical completion costs for the customer.

Nationwide - Medina, Ohio Based

Promoted at Corrpro, to work on sensitive structure drilling as a Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) expert in the U.S. and internationally. I oversaw multiple projects averaging 4-5 million in annual revenue. Administering budgeting and staffing for the HDD service line, I focused on under tank and subsurface piping structures. I led up to 12 supporting field professionals and 4 mobile HDD sets of equipment and managed a 4M yearly budget for this niche catholic protection group with attention towards streamlining HDD operations and process workflow. Enforced a zero based safety culture and operating processes I innovated our trenchless linear anode capabilities and AC mitigation zinc ribbon systems earning us the chance to work on nationwide installation opportunities and generating Corrpro 3M annually. The new catholic protection techniques and methods drove a nearly 15% increase in annual revenue and growth enabling us to estimate, quote and work on various trenchless HDD projects nationwide and overseas.

Medina Based - Nationwide / International

At Corrpro, I provided expert Cathodic Protection (CP) and drilling operations oversight with a focus on above ground storage tanks (AST’s) shallow and deep ground bed installations, and trenchless horizontally directionally drilled CP applications. Supervising and training a professionally qualified team of CO operators and technicians, I managed a large regional construction budget where I oversaw CP principles l, material application, design practices, and installation procedures. Enforcing a stringent safety culture, I applied my deep mechanical and design knowledge of AST’s and engineered bottoms, to also include D.O.T. regulated secondary pipe casings to provide vapor corrosion inhibitor and hands-on monitoring of electronic data collection and the correlation from corrosion rate probes.This form of CP is acknowledged for designing, monitoring and mitigating challenging D.O.T. regulated fuel carrying environments. Our team worked with product manufacturers JD safety experts to establish S.O.P.s driving growth and nearly $2M in revenue with 40% margins. Excitingly we increased sales volumes of the VCI methods by 20% in year two.

At Praxair Services, I developed and delivered cathodic protection, leak detection and ground water remediation systems. Growing to individually manage three person crews I held the responsibility for field operations. On my watch, I assessed mechanical and subsurface installation situations and supported the design and upgrades of horizontal directional boring systems that enabled us to accurately drill under tanks, pipes, manifolds and engineered structures within 1” of accuracy. On each project we documented installation elevations and recorded corrosion data correlating to necessary upgrade recommendations and current output of customer systems.Most notably we doubled revenue and service opportunities in the HDD and Corrosion division by evaluating the integrity of 80+ storage terminals and their associates fuel storage and transfer assets. This included AST’s, piping manifolds at loading racks, and regulated pipelines. In this role, I was awarded Employee of the Year recognizing leadership, innovation and dedication by the senior management team and parent company over the Cathodic protection and environmental group.
