* Owner and development responsible for specification regarding all components, systems used in the network; Antenna’s, Cables, Feeders, BTSs, Microwave, MSPTP, BSC, RNC etc. * System Supplier selection and System Introduction (tested, optimized and operational when introduced in the network) * Specification and standardization of overall site design (incl. H&S) and Backhaul- and RN planning Rules and guidelines * Radio access network software release and implementation * Test environment / platforms * Perform the radio access and transport platform/service provider selection (or will take part in DT/TMO international transport platform tenders) * Perform trials and pilots of radio access and transport platforms/service provider products. * Take the lead (technical, project management) in local RFQs for radio access platforms and provide technical support in international RfQs for transport platforms * Dictate T-Mobile’s technical requirements to equipment suppliers, in order to guarantee that supplier roadmaps are fully in line with T-Mobile’s medium and long term strategy * Develop appropriate systems and processes to ensure consistent solution design for standardized Radio Network products ready for deployment across the Radio Access networks, taking requirements and considerations of all impacted departments and disciplines into account. (Energy management, Deployment, Operations) * Contribution to budget (IPF) process and developing business cases * Developing competence in new Radio Access Network Technologies

Implementation of new Radio access network elements, such as site and repeater integrations. Execute Transmission Change Requests (TCRʼs), like site rehosting, leased-line to microwave cutovers and Quality improvement on a daily basis. As a telecom expert giving technical assistance to contractors and field engineers in carrying-out complex operations or solving network problems.Keep software, hardware tools and test equipment up do date. Work closely together with other RN and T-Mobile departments. Support and improve operational procedures and reporting structures as well as work methods set out by the Supervisor. Carry out checks of tools and personal safety gear to ensure optimal functioning.

Responsible from Technical Site Survey up to Final Acceptance and handed over to the Operations Department for progress, quality and cost efficiency on site/small project level. In engineering, construction and installation phase I was the first point of contact and the redirect guide for technical issues for the contractor I worked with. Training other Field engineers. Work closely together with other RN and T-Mobile departments.Occasionally integrated 2G and 3G sites.
