Operate independently of the Department to explore and implement best practices, providing the most informed and effective recommendations for improvement of Policing Services provided by the LAPD. Responsible for scoping and briefing casework to determine areas of investigative coverage required in accordance with applicable directives and investigative standards and conduct record checks to meet investigative requirements. Activities include conducting interviews, retrieving records, conducting research, and preparing reports of investigations in compliance with federal standards, all laws, and other required federal agency regulations. Primary responsibility included all major operational and asset protection functions within the store. Responsible for monitoring and executing inbound and outbound traffic of merchandise cumulatively valuing to approximately $3,000,000 annually. I have a plethora of documented results in regards to the implementation of process improvements within the location which were directly influenced by myself and my team through the use of existing auditing programs, as well as the creation of new ones. Greatly reduced shortage percentage of the store through meticulous analysis of major SKU variances and cross referencing them with existing data from various programs. Responsible for loss prevention initiatives through the creation and enforcement of shortage action plans on a bi-annual basis following post-inventory analysis.

Primary responsibility started with my partnership within the Center Core department personnel and applicable management (Leather Goods, Fine Jewelry, Fashion Accessories). Monitored and improved existing merchandise protection standards as well as personnel policy and procedural compliance. Trained store staff on various asset protection topics on a weekly basis as well as hosting more focused monthly departmental meetings in conjunction with Center Core manager. Main priority was to ensure the safety and operational well-being of clients occupying a mid-sized office building (approximately 500 tenants). Assigned during hours of day in which clients would be leaving the property. Responded to all injuries, lock-outs, and strictly monitored all access points against unauthorized access. Conducted patrols throughout the evening- performing safety and security audits throughout the entire property. Documented thoroughly; in report format, all activity for review by the account executive, post commander, and property manager(s).

Primary responsibilities involved analyzing e-commerce trends and calculating profitability of eligible products for manufacturing and sale. The position was heavy on negotiation as contacts were made with manufacturing, shipping, and customs processing firms internationally. After negotiation: the manufacturing process, operating expenses and the resultant revenue were presented to the leadership where the investment consensus would be made.
