Engineer DCS systems on site at primarily water treatment facilities and power plants. Work consists of troubleshooting, installing, and upgrading control systems and working with customers to meet their expectations in the field. Experience troubleshooting controller logic and graphics linked to logic.Exposure to projects consisting of Ovation Distributed Control System, Programmable Logic Controllers, SCADA Systems, Cisco routers and switches, Ethernet Link Controllers, McAfee Cybersecurity, and Windows as these components all interact and come into play when troubleshooting and installing control systems. Diagnose and fix problems in the field that may limit the plant's functionality so at times work can be in high pressure environments and may require long hours.

Built out a full sized water distillation unit to be used on a well pad.Ran tests and analyzed data gathered from our distillation tank which recycled methanol from the wastewater in order to reduce methanol consumption by fracking companies.

Redesigned the War Room to improve tracking metric visibility, line efficiency, and the overall quality of daily production meetings. Worked alongside other process engineers and the QC lab to implement new procedures in order to reduce color defective batches and increase accountability for wasted product. Lead lean manufacturing and plant upgrade projects.

Worked alongside two scientists on the Resin Research & Development team and saw firsthand the groundwork that goes behind developing a patent.Honed my lab skills every day by learning how to operate new testing equipment, improving the quality of my daily batch, and maintaining an organized and detailed account of each experiment in my lab notebook.Daily meetings with the process engineering team in order to smoothly integrate our lab data with their scale up data gathered from the pilot plant.

Worked alongside process engineers, maintenance, and the QC lab. Became familiar with all of the equipment in the plant by working with and shadowing maintenance when they performed their scheduled preventative maintenance.Had a variety of small projects inherited from the co-op before me which improved my ability to look at past, partially completed work to solve problems I was tasked with completing.
