I was responsible for all quality departments including quality engineering. I participated in ISO/TS 16949 audits, 8D's, 7 steps, drill deep/drill wide, 5 phase and other problem solving tools. Continuous improvement activities utilizing CMM arms with installation and programming, vision system implementation and programming.

Responsible for all quality departments on the production floor. Worked with the quality manager on 8D's and troubleshooting.

I was responsible to design gages and fixtures for wheels in the mold shop, casting, machine shop, quality inspection, and final inspection areas using AutoCad, Inventor, and Unigraphics softwares. I would make 3D models creating an igs file to send to vendors for fabrication of gages and other fixtures.

I was responsible for making fixtures, jigs, and blue print reading. I made parts from raw stock using manual lathes, milling machines, radial arm drills, hydrolic tracer mills, hydrolic tracer lathes, CNC turning centers, CNC machining centers, hydrolic grinders, rotary grinders, tool grinders, and other machines necessary to build gages, molds, mold components, and other parts as needed.

I was responsible for all production, set up training and execution, and part quality of the machine shop.
