Since 2020, I am a tenured research professor for Information Management & Digitalization at the Faculty of Tourism-Management at the University of Applied Sciences Kempten. Furthermore, I am am director of the Institute for Sustainable and Innovative Tourism (INIT).My interdisciplinary research focuses on applied data science and behavioral science for visitor management and smart mobility. In this domain, my team have been granted various applied research projects with a volume of over 3 million Euros for my organizations. During the last years, I regularly published in internationally renowned journals and conferences, and I’ve been asked to review for several renowned journals and conferences. I am also supervisor for some doctoral theses.
