Because of my 25+ years of experience as a clinician, hospital director and physician practice executive, I have a unique understanding of the challenges and opportunities that exist in the healthcare market. I began my career as a provider, which gave me compassion for patients and industry insight as I went on to lead successful, innovative teams as an executive. Through my background in health care operations and payment, I served as Director of Healthcare Payment Strategies for the Center for Improving Value in Health Care (CIVHC). As Solution Strategy Director for Aver Inc. I began to focus on big-picture issues in the healthcare marketplace, catalyzing adoption of new technology and improved systems for patient care. In 2018, I brought together a group of executives and health care management experts to form OneTogether Solutions, a Tribal Collaborative Partnership for Wellness. We act as an ally to Native American communities to help develop, finance and manage healthcare programs that provide revenue streams for the tribe while expanding much needed health care services in the tribal community.
