Built new dedicated legal role providing advice to the executive leadership of the Enterprise Risk Management, Credit Review, and Audit departments. Lead legal subject matter expert to all Capital One departments on bank regulatory matters, including federal preemption, corporate and risk governance, "ESG" and climate risk, third-party risk management, recovery and resolution planning, brokered deposits, examination ratings, confidential supervisory information, and the Freedom of Information Act. Co-founded and co-host of monthly "Between Two Regulators" podcast to empower all Capital One associates by demystifying the bank regulatory and supervisory processes.

Advised on complex bank holding company and bank regulatory requirements related to applications, permissibility, safety and soundness, risk management, disaster recovery, and resolution planning, including Regulations D, K, W, O, Y, QQ, VV, WW, and YY. Led and coordinated select regulatory advocacy engagements in close partnership with Government Affairs, Regulatory Relations and impacted business line departments to advance Capital One's public policy interests with industry trade associations and bank regulatory agencies.

Recruited into new role by the Senior Vice President, Head of Regulatory Relations, to advise the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Committee on their engagement with senior policy officials at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, Federal Reserve System, Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and Consumer FInancial Protection Bureau. Core member of the project management team responsible for remediating five public enforcement actions. Assigned to manage highest priority bank regulatory examinations in the United States, United Kingdom, and Canada. Coordinated select advocacy engagements to advance Capital One's position with industry trade associations and bank regulatory agencies.
