I am an accomplished, self-motivated and process-driven project management leader with expertise in directing project teams to plan, manage, execute and complete high-profile initiatives on time and budget while ensuring organizational quality, increasing revenue and improving profitability. I have extensive background in the project life-cycle, budgeting, cost control and stakeholder relations. My experience in consumer packaged goods and food-service industries will ensure success through project execution for existing products and new product introductions. I earned my PMP certification in 2014. While I believe projects should be managed in a process-driven manner, aspects of project management can be more art than rigid process. Tailoring project plans to the scope and objectives of the project is necessary to ensure the best use of resources and avoid unnecessary work. When possible, I allow the members of my teams to lead the efforts for which they are responsible. I have had extensive exposure to various industries, materials, and processes from a vendor and customer viewpoint. This has allowed me to ask challenging questions of team members and supplier to ensure tasks are well defined, options are thought through, and solutions are successful. Over the course of my career I have become proficient in managing organizational capital needs as to ensure revenue growth, provide a safe manufacturing environment, reduce costs, and maintain existing assets and capabilities. To ensure capital is spent wisely, tools such as decision matrices must be used to identify and negotiate equipment purchases to ensure equipment cost, quality, and delivery objectives are achieved. To better understand and support project work, I have developed financial analysis and accounting skills to develop detailed cost models for new products, and understand the financial impact of new equipment or automation. Ensuring all members of an organization communicate and manage projects similarly is essential for success. To do this, I have developed and led project management training sessions globally for project managers, engineers, and maintenance technicians. For professional development I enjoy actively learning new skills, fine tuning existing skills, and understanding new ideas that challenge business as usual.
