The project was the re tiling of the balconies for a 15 story apartment complex. My role was to lead the team of tilers and labourers to meet the project deadlines. I ensured that materials were on site before they were needed, bins were replaced when they were full and that we could access the apartments. As it was a live project we needed to be considerate of the tenants while still accessing their balconies. We did this by giving them a couple of days notice of when we would be doing their balconies and being polite and respectful at all times. Other duties included progress tracking, labouring, quality assurance, reporting to the director of Parrs tiling and reporting to the main contractor.
