Wematter is a company that provides and develops 3D-printers. The business is based on the Company's in-house developed system solution for 3D printing, where the central product consists of a polymer printer with powder bed technology, which together with associated equipment is long-term leased to the customer. Today, the 3D printer is the only one of its kind that is CE-marked as IT equipment and can be placed directly in an office environment or in a customer's laboratory. Wematter was founded in 2014 in Linköping by two engineers with an ambition to challenge and create better conditions for smarter and more efficient product development in the manufacturing industry, both in Sweden and globally. The founders' vision is to create a functional system for 3D printing where the quality of the printings is equivalent to factory-made parts. The company's system can today produce a large number of prints with this quality for prototypes or end products within 24 hours. The company's customers are in the manufacturing industry and among technology consultants active in product development but also in the healthcare and medical technology industry. Examples of companies that currently use Wematter's services are the manufacturing company Husqvarna and the engineering company Etteplan.

Concept and industrialization design work seed metering, the fine mechanics at Väderstad Verken. The design work mainly consists of concept drawings, development in cooperation with the testing department and plastic construction design. Welded structures and heavy duty plastic design is also a part of the design work.I started out with a Trainee program to get to learn the company and different aspects of being a Design Engineer.It was divided at four different departments including - welded structures and tooling, seed metering systems, product engineering and testing and verification. I also had a meetings and visits to other factories together with other trainees in the region.

The main task was to develop and design the user experience of an online ordering system for cable markings. The work included personas creation, requirements, wire frame drawings, concept drawings and high fidelity drawings. The focus was to minimize excess and focus on the entire purchase flow.

To develop buttons for a new product with help of affective design. The main task was to take the Sectra brand and apply it to the user interaction design including the mechanics of the physical buttons. Other tasks included graphical user interface as well as the symbols on the buttons.
