Summary of my past project activities:I am looking for a new challenge in the field of embedded system real-time code development. My past work in international teams inspired me. Starting point of every project was the system engineer team which designs the overall hardware and software system specification according to ITU-T international standard requirement. This system specification typically needs refinement by our firmware development team in order to balance between the coarse concept and the detailed hardware configuration possibilities. The hardware specification is the other input for firmware / software development. Early in the future hardware design phase luckily my role was to influence with my proposals the hardware interface changes in order to guarantee timing accuracy achievable with a limited clock speed of the processor.I write optimized switching functions of the real time operating system (RTOS) in order to minimize the time jitter in case of changing threads interrupt. In our firmware this time jitter despite hardware requirement of around > 256 cycles never exceeded 311 cycles maximum which just fulfills system requirements as proven in many unit-tests as well as complete system testing.Agile firmware development methodology was successfully introduced to implement continuous development release cycles every 3 month for 20+ customer variants synchronizing the UNIX microcontroller software with our real-time critical firmware code deliveries.Interoperability testing of our equipment with vendors of XGS-PON optical line terminals is supported by myself as responsible firmware developer at the testing broadband forum BBF247 laboratory in France as well as remote setups at world-wide customer locations.I am curious to start working with a new professional team.
