I am a parts professional by trade, with 16 years of experience in the fields of automotive aftermarket and material handling parts. With 20 years of management, I have directed as many as fourteen employees in day-to-day operations in environments as varied as retail stores, a repossession lot, and a forklift repair shop. I am highly proficient in the use of a forklift, having spent over five years operating one for multiple hours each day, and another 3.5 years procuring parts for lift trucks, aerial lift equipment, and some light and heavy construction equipment. I am also possessed of excellent written communication skills, utilizing email as my chief means of correspondence with vendors, shippers, and often customers. Writing is what I truly love, and as of October 2024 I have written over 200,000 words of my first novel.
