My career in the mining industry started in 1989 with industrial tool sales to Phelps Dodge/Freeport McMoRan. I am currently employed with Komatsu Mining Corp as an Account Manager with product knowledge in P&H Electric Mining Shovels, Drills, and loading equipment.Major Responsibilities:- On-site commercial representation for Komatsu, P&H electric mining shovels. Point of contact for customers networking with both organizations when pursuing new opportunities, or resolving customer issues.- Customer support to include after-market parts sales, inventory management, project management logistics, planning, forecasting, and receivables. Responsible for overseeing routinely scheduled major overhauls related to field service requirements, technical communications, aftermarket parts requirements, and work-scope deadlines.- Liaison between customer technical requirements, P&H Engineering and Product Support related to equipment modifications and upgrades. Attend customer weekly planning meetings and functions related to building and strengthening existing relationships.- Leadership and supervision for direct reports, providing resources for leadership development and career advancement for direct reports.- Comply and stay current with customer safety program initiatives and requirements,including MSHA, and OSHA compliance.- Proficient in MS Office programs, SAP, Salesforce (CRM)
