Geospatial San Diego is a social networking group for people with careers and interests in the geospatial profession in the San Diego area. The San Diego geospatial market is robust, touching aspects of government, academia, and industry in various ways. The focus of this group is to help bring together members of this fragmented community in a social setting to help bring a feeling of cohesiveness to this thriving, but diverse, industry.

Directed projects for the NEA Phase IV execution and fielding in Afghanistan, Bahrain and the United States.Directed the development, integration and global fielding of NSG Video Services, a Full Motion Video/Wide Area Surveillance imagery architecture- improved the accessibility and discoverability of motion imagery while realizing information technology efficiencies in storage and transmission.Led the development and overseas fielding of a NEA Data and Analytics cloud computing capability- provided an ultra large scale GEOINT data and processing environment, allowing for advanced intelligence analytics.Led the establishment of the NEA Test Bed at China Lake, CA. Enabled live end-to-end demonstrations and testing of airborne intelligence collection platforms with the NEA architecture and the Distributed Common Ground/Surface System (DCGS) community- reduced the risk associated with overseas wartime fielding. Oversaw two Limited Objective Events and NGA’s participation in Empire Challenge 2010, 2011 and Trident Warrior 2010.Managed the Joint Technical Capabilities Demonstration and the Quick Reaction Capability overseas fielding of the SensorWeb program. Integrated open web-based applications and services with legacy sensors- improved sensor data accessibility and utility. Oversaw the development, integration and overseas fielding of a commercial off the shelf 3G communications solution- provides GEOINT and mobile applications to deployed forces. Advanced the DoD/IC development of mobile application governance and mobile device encryption solutions in partnership with four other government agencies.Led NGA's participation, programming and budgeting in the DCGS community as the GEOINT Functional Team Chair and DCGS USD(I) chaired Steering Group NGA Representative.

Directed worldwide US Navy policy, joint operational planning and execution of US Navy Special Programs. Liaison between the Navy, the Office of the Secretary of Defense, the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Combatant Commanders and other government agencies for Information Operations (IO), to include Cyber Activities, Space Systems, Electronic Warfare, Military Deception and Operational Security. Core member of the Chalk Talk group, responsible for fleet implementation and management of special access programs. Operations and Policy (OPNAV N3/N5) representative to the Special Access Program Review Group (SPRG) and Special Access Program Oversight Committee (SAPOC)- presented fleet operational concerns and perspective during program reviews with Secretary of the Navy and Chief of Naval Operations Staffs. Managed the Navy's role in the operational introduction, planning, testing, exercise, and execution of joint STO programs.

Augmented US Army XVIII Airborne Corps and III Corps Staff. Lead civil-military operations planner during the Operation Iraqi Freedom Surge. Developed and coordinated the reconstruction, rule of law, economic development and reconciliation campaign plans executed by over 200,000 coalition military, civilian and contract personnel. Mentored MNC-I C2 and C3 (the Intelligence and Operations directorates) on value chain analysis to effectively target reconstruction and economic development resources for maximum utility. Leading member of the STO and IO Operations Planning Groups.

Managed the intelligence activities and supported strike planning for a carrier-based air wing of 72 tactical aircraft and over 1,000 personnel. Directed six intelligence production, analysis and strike planning work centers onboard an aircraft carrier, managed over 45 personnel and several million dollars worth of intelligence processing and communications equipment. Supervised pre-flight briefs, all-source intelligence fusion, precision aim point production, threat warning and post-flight debriefs to strike aviation aircrews executing over 3,000 combat sorties during Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom. Air Wing Antiterrorism and Force Protection Officer-directed air wing antiterrorism and force protection plans and coordination, executed during six overseas port calls and four bilateral exercises ashore, which resulted in incident-free liberty periods for over 1,000 personnel and increased readiness and interoperability with coalition partners. Air Wing Security Manager and Operational Security Manager for over 1,000 personnel.

US European Command Targeting Branch Officer- managed target planning, production and policies across the European and African continents. Specialized in target support to Special Operations Forces, Information Operations and Special Access Programs for Operations Northern Watch, Joint Guardian and Essential Harvest, executed by over 120,000 personnel. Senior intelligence planner for the post 9/11 anti-terrorism campaign and theater security cooperation plan.

Led the training, preparation and deployment of four joint intelligence collection management teams throughout the Pacific theater of operations. These teams augmented theater service components (i.e. the US Pacific Air Force) and supported US and Allied exercises such as Rim of the Pacific (21,000 personnel from six countries) and Cobra Gold (10,000 personnel from seven countries). Intelligence Senior Watch officer. Supervised a diverse, joint intelligence watch team within a high stress environment. Provided 24/7 near real time threat indications and warning and tailored intelligence production for US and Allied forces operating in the Northern Pacific, Sea of Japan and Sea of Okhotsk.

Led combat planning support for carrier-based EA-6B Prowler electronic attack squadron. Researched and presented vulnerability analysis and threat intelligence to squadron and air wing aircrews. Surface-to-Air Missile and Integrated Air Defense Systems tactics analysis lead. Squadron Security Manager for 130+ personnel. Conducted two Western Pacific combat cruises and one counter narcotics deployment to Panama. Naval Air Training and Operating Procedures Standardization (NATOPS) qualified in the EA-6B Prowler with 200+ hours.Volunteered to coach little league soccer.

Provided training, all-source intelligence and threat warning support to deployed P-3C Orion maritime patrol squadrons. Instructed and certified aircrew to conduct sensitive reconnaissance operations (SRO), anti-submarine missions and maritime patrols in the Northern Pacific.
