I was recruited for this position; the company is expanding through acquisitions. They are 133 Million dollar business with multiple manufacturing facilities and realized that they needed an in-house Epicor expert (SME) to support their expansion efforts. I primarily function in the accounting department training and advising good general accounting practices in Epicor to achieve the corporate objectives.On my first week of engagement, I facilitated the absorption of a west coast facility leveraging Epicor functionality which came to fruition in only 4 weeks after concept.Performed Data Migration from a legacy system to Epicor.

I am engaged under contract to implement Epicor E10.1 SaaS (Cloud) ERP Software using my skills acquired from previous successful implementations of Epicor Software.

I designed and marketed a Lean based fully integrated ERP system to support the Lean Campaign through the entire business process including accounting activities and the manufacturing process. The programs supports small to midsized companies.

I joined the Laundrylux team to assist with an Epicor post go live situation and to provide education to use Epicor functionality effectively in their environment. I provided weekly training session for the Epicor modules to get our employees up to speed in the functionality and benefits of using Epicor. Within 3 months the confusion of the day to day details of operations smoothed out and the performance increased.

I installed Epicor ERP software at Pleatco and they retained me as a permanent employee. My significant accomplishments are:Start from a cold start to go-live in 7 weeks with Epicor ERP Software. The average implementation is 6 to 12 months. Converted all data, customized screens for unique business process, and customized screens for improved efficiency by reducing the number of clicks and navigation time.Totally familiar with Epicor tools such as TIE EDI, Insite Manifest, Advance Print Management, DMT, Business Activity Query, Business Report Designer, Crystal Report writing skills and Dashboards.Co-ordinate training, implementation and post go-live support, incorporating business logic into Epicor. Result obtained, the business tripled while maintaining the initial staffing due to capturing efficiency using the tools mentioned above.

Designed and added to an existing accounting package the additional functionality to become a full ERP package oriented towards Lean Manufacturing.Provided the specifications and the functionally for Bill Of Materials (BOM) with Drill Down, Where-Used, Routings, Kanban Inventory Control, Revision Control, Lot Control, Job Orders, Planed Purchasing and Kanban Replenishment. I streamlined accounting, purchasing and receiving functions to absorb the increased transactions as a result a successful Lean implementation.

Initiated and spearheaded, in accordance to the FDA, the procedures and processes required to combine lots of pharmaceutical drugs to achieve FIFO practices and reduce short dated (expired) inventory.Developed a bar coded system to transform a visual production scheduling board into a multi plant electronic scheduling system with expected delivery dates and production resource optimization.Implemented and established an infrastructure to support warehouse automation and Lean principles where practicable for an 85 million dollar high volume packaging and distributing company.Directed all IT functions including ERP software upgrades and roll outs.

I was a contract Test Engineer responsible for generation of procedures, specifications and reports for EMI and Environmental Testing of helicopter Engine Control Systems for military aerospace applications.I performed circuit analysis of the existing circuitry and wrote a diagnostic code for a test fixture to record anomalies of a computer controlled ECU during various testing conditions.Related specs utilized were Mil-Std-810, DO-160, Mil-Std-461 and Mil-Std-462

This is my second engagement with IFI.I developed and implemented a proprietary MRP/ERP bar-coded automation system to paperlessly reorder Kanban inventory for a Lean manufacturing facility.I initiated Consolidated Vendor Relationships (CVR) for the Kanban replenishment system.My process improvements resulted in improved throughput, reduced lead-times, and an immediate 25% reduction of material cost, perpetual inventory reduction to 1% of annual sales, and increased inventory turns from 3 to 20.

Designed and seamlessly employed a proprietary “One-To-Many” reverse flow MRP system for shop floor scheduling, material allocation, material replenishment and delivery status. It was designed and implemented in 6 months with the intention of being replaced by a commercial ERP Package called JD Edwards but the program was so effective that it is still in service since 2001. I Automated processes resulting in staff reductions averaging from 50%-75% across departments.Developed "Safety Stock" and "Min/Max" levels of inventory needed to provide an 80% customer service level which resulted in a reduction in lead-times from 12 weeks to less than 8 days.

I reported directly to the CEO and managed all phases of Production, Purchasing, Quality Assurance, Design and MIS. The equipment manufactured are RF Amplifiers with the frequency ranges of DC - 40GHz using Solid State, Tetrode Tubes and TWT technology.I implemented and maintained Made2Manage (M2M), a DB2 ERP interactive system.I developed and maintained a system to increase cash flow by reducing Work-In-Process (WIP) and decreasing cost of inventory through Just-In-Time (JIT) Delivery.I maintained corporate/clientele accounts, both government and commercial, for delivery and compliance to specifications. I had heavy client contact to establish procurement specifications and pricing.I controlled engineering design projects for proper costing, purchasing and progression from design through production.

I initiated, supervised, documented and executed all Qualification Testing Programs for military and commercial aircraft instruments to assure compliance to design specifications.I qualified products using EMI and Environmental Testing Methods as per MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461/462.Member of the Proposal Team to facilitate cost estimates for bids on contracts.Department of Defense Weapon Specification 'Cat C' certified to inspect/ instruct High Reliability Soldering to military specifications (MIL STD 2000).

I was responsible for and supervised the relocation of a company purchased in Dallas Texas and relocated that company to Chicago Illinios. This include the setup of the facility, hiring personnel, training personeel, locating new suppliers, etc. Everything required to startup the company in a new location.
