Independent director since 2020 and a financial expert serving the Enterprise Risk Committee and Audit Committee of Dollar Mutual Bancorp, leveraging nearly 40 years of technical accounting, audit and advisory knowledge. Twenty-five years as a trusted audit partner and business advisor at KPMG with deep expertise helping audit and risk committees navigate complex challenges across a broad spectrum of industries. Committed to governance, I became a Certified Director in 2021 and had previously obtained the National Association of Corporate Director’s (NACD) Cyber Risk Oversight Certificate and was appointed a Governance Fellow. I’m also a founding member of the NACD’s Three Rivers Chapter and a past Board Chair. Improving the governance of an organization is a passion.As Managing Partner of KPMG’s Pittsburgh office until my retirement in 2019, led a doubling of revenue and workforce. In collaboration with partners, the practice was restructured to establish more stability across audit, tax, and advisory services and drove new client growth in healthcare, energy, and chemical industries. Concurrently served as Lead Engagement Audit Partner, assisting leadership teams and audit committees in financial reporting compliance, acquisitions, and implementation of new accounting standards. During my tenure I devoted important time to diversity through the launch of KMPG’s local Network of Women and Pride (LGBTQ) resource groups. I also championed new admissions into the partnership each year and in the last 5 years 40% of the partners made were female. A long-time resident of Pittsburgh, I’ve been fortunate to contribute a blend of audit, advisory and problem-solving skills with a passion for people and community as a board member of multiple not-for-profit organizations. I currently serve on the Zoological Society of Pittsburgh’s board where I had the opportunity to be a part of writing the organization’s bylaws. Further, I led formation of an Endowment Committee, helped bring in a new CEO and CFO and participated in creation of a new strategic plan. Currently, I serve as Treasurer and chair the Finance and Audit Committee.I lead by example, have an eye for talent, and as an intellectually curious person I enjoy learning from people of all ages and applying my knowledge in ways that create value and strong bonds.
