With 24 years of mining experience, 13 years operational and 11 years managerial experience, I have developed managerial, technical, and financial skills though the coordination of technical, maintenance, production, drill, and blast teams in both large and small open cut, base metal, precious metal and coal mines in Australia, Russia, Southeast and Central Asia (Artic, Desert and Jungle regions).Having managed Australia's and Kazakhstan’s largest open cut copper mines and managed the technical services team for Australia's largest open cut zinc mine, I am interested in roles that take me towards my goal of understanding the business of mining. I am also keen in developing my skills and knowledge in technologies related to usage of data, connectivity and telecommunications, and automation.I am currently working as Mine Director with the goal of taking one of the biggest undeveloped copper deposits in the world from Pre-feasibility to full and sustainable production.
