With 24 years of mining experience, 13 years operational and 11 years managerial experience, I have developed managerial, technical, and financial skills though the coordination of technical, maintenance, production, drill, and blast teams in both large and small open cut, base metal, precious metal and coal mines in Australia, Russia, Southeast and Central Asia (Artic, Desert and Jungle regions).Having managed Australia's and Kazakhstan’s largest open cut copper mines and managed the technical services team for Australia's largest open cut zinc mine, I am interested in roles that take me towards my goal of understanding the business of mining. I am also keen in developing my skills and knowledge in technologies related to usage of data, connectivity and telecommunications, and automation.I am currently working as Mine Director with the goal of taking one of the biggest undeveloped copper deposits in the world from Pre-feasibility to full and sustainable production.

Developing and Commissioning one of the biggest undeveloped copper deposits in the world (estimated and probable ore reserves at 1,428 million tons). Mining by open pit using remote controlled excavators, Autonomous haul trucks and Autonomous Drills. The plant is designed to process 70 million tonnes of ore per year and produce about 1.5 million tonnes a year of copper sulphide concentrate with a copper content of 24% and approximately 13,000 tonnes year of molybdenum concentrate. The mine has a life of approximately 40 years. Copper and gold grades for the entire life of the mine are estimated at 0.47% and 0.27g/t, respectively. The overall volume of investments in the project is estimated at US$9 billion.
