Leadership positions within CA included, VP Global Support Center team of 800+ engineers and managers worldwide; VP of Global Escalation Management, managing reactive and proactive support for CA's global customer base; the Chief of Staff for the Corporate Senior Vice President for CA Support; and VP Global Support Delivery for several of CA's distributed enterprise products, including Security, Mainframe, Network Management, Systems Management, Workload Automation, and Project Portfolio Management leading a team of professional directors, managers, and engineers.Roles prior to CA included, Vice President, Worldwide Customer Services, Concord Communications, which was acquired by CA Technologies. Manager of Professional Services, Concord Communications, responsible for building up the practice when the company went public. I started my career as a manager in the Operator Services division of Bell Atlantic/NYNEX (now Verizon), where I managed network and data center operations and call center operations for the New York and New England region.Specialties: Experience in building and turning around services organizations in the software and telecommunications industry. Community VolunteerFresh Start Furniture Bank, Immaculate Conception Parish, Bryant University, Saint Anselm College Dec 2018 - May 2020Hudson, Massachusetts, UsAfter leaving CA Technologies, I decided to take time off to volunteer for non-profits that help people and the communities my family supports. I volunteer for Fresh Start Furniture Bank with my wife helping provide furniture and home goods at no cost to those in need. I also volunteer my time to my church to help with restoration efforts to restore the church after a fire damaged the interior building. I also volunteered my services to help my move our church's website to a new secure platform and redesigned the website. My wife and I also volunteer our time and provide financial support on the Parents Leadership Council at Bryant University, where our son completed his undergraduate and graduate studies and at Saint Anselm College, where our daughter is currently attending. During this time I continued to search for my next opportunity in the corporate world, networking with colleagues and Bowdoin Alumni. I accepted an offer in May of 2020 to work at Park Place Technologies as their new vice president of Advanced Engineering and Research and Development. I continue my volunteer activities in my personal time. -
