Been doing health care and marketing research since 1972, first in the Department of Psychiatry, University of Miami Medical School, and subsequently as head of Behavioral Science Research Corporation, where I am focusing my energies on improving service delivery to low-income men and women with HIV/AIDS through contracts with the Ryan White program. I taught college at Indiana University, University of Kentucky and University of Miami; spent 16 years as a pastor to United Methodist and Lutheran congregations in South Florida; and been active in HIV/AIDS research and program quality improvement since 1991. You will find me enthusiastic about teaching Bible, Christian church history and world religions, eager to find ways to improve research and patient care processes, dedicated to transparency in survey research methodology, and excited about Kairos Prison Ministry as a way of providing hope to men and women in prison. I have two wonderful adult children (Adrian and Katherine), and five indescribably fantastic grandchildren.
