Duly elected by the brothers of the fraternity to serve in a leadership role as the Chair of the Standards Board directing the judicial actions of the fraternity. As the Standards Director, my primary responsibilities were to enforce and ensure that all fraternity brothers followed the rules and protocols established by the Chapter of the Fraternity. Reviewed complaints and grievances filed by brothers from within the fraternity or outside sources against a brother. Diagnosed and resolved these issues through various means, which included gathering all the facts, conducting investigations, and obtaining written statements from the respective sources. Based upon final review and preparation, deliberated with the Standards Board on the appropriate course of action to be taken for each respective case.Issued and enforced disciplinary actions that were a consequence of a brother violating standards.
