Oversee operations of approximately 1.5 million sqf. Site includes four (4) main data centers, multiple server rooms varying in size, multiple DC plants, and all associated equipment – UPS’s, STS’s, PDU’s, and generators.I handle all work orders coming into the site and delegate to the correct person. I have fine-tuned the PM program to fit in the guidelines of annual testing, efficiency, and also in consideration of the customer needs. I ensure that all testing and equipment PM’s comply with established NFPA and NEC codes. I have put in place annual contracts and collaborate well with vendors and contractors. I take care of work scheduling for both employees, contractors, and critical after hours night work. I work with management and Verizon with budgeting for end of life replacement and or upgrades for all equipment which currently includes UPS’s, PDU’s, generators, fuel polishing, and the BMS. I do the infrared testing of PDU’s, have helped with switch gear breaker programming and change outs, and I have been involved with the critical switch gear PM and repairs. I look for ways to improve our operations, run things even tighter, and to save in energy consumption. I look for ways to eliminate multiple points of possible failure to help ensure an even greater uptime percentage for our critical operations. I maintain proper air flow delivery in our data centers and maintain proper raised floor configuration. I help in Project Coordination, scope, and bidding of multi-million dollar projects. Maintain up to date record keeping, do site survey’s/ inspections, maintain 200 water cooled CRAC units, and assist in admin area build-outs.

Duties include: Oversee the operations and maintenance of two buildings of approximately 460,000 sqf and oversee a shop of 6 men. Set up and oversee PM program, work with EH&S to ensure safety compliancy, MSDS records, chemical disposal, and e-waste. Negotiate service contracts and help bring in new suppliers for competitive pricing. I do Life Cycle Assessment on building equipment and help do develop change out plans. I continually look for ways to upgrade and improve facility infrastructure and reduce operations cost. Help with project coordination and oversee contractor work. Have been involved with major project work such as; fire alarm upgrade, sprinkler system replacement, BMS upgrades, AHU replacement, generator upgrades, and VAV upgrade/ replacements.Have experience with MCS and 360 work order systems. Also help to manage landscaping, security, and kitchen/cafeteria issues. I work closely with the client and maintain a good rapport with them in the operations of the facility. I streamlined and organized the records system and created new logs for HVAC, Safety, and Life Safety. Promote cross-training of employees and make sure safety is foremost in our work.

I work in a critical facility environment/ data center owned by Fannie Mae. I assisted in employee scheduling, ordering of supplies, coordinating project work, collaborating with contractors, and communicating with client management. I help in training, establishing SOP’s, overseeing and fine tuning PM program, incorporating guidelines set by OSHA, NFPA, IFC, and new UN safety regulations. I assist in maintaining 6 McQuay high speed chillers, rebuild centrifugal pumps and motors, fine tune settings for mechanical systems, operate Johnson Controls ADX BAS with complete DDC building, repairing of VAV systems, and maintaining of Liebert water cooled CRAC units. I work to find new ways in building energy savings and more efficient plant operations. Oversee data center mechanical operations and keeping the integrity of the constantly changing environment.Worked with generators, addressable fire alarm systems, dual feed power, motor starter maintenance, and VFD’s.

Helped maintain 30 academic buildings of varying design. Serviced and repaired HVAC equipment and sought ways to improve efficiency. Did motor change outs and worked with three phase equipment. Have fume hood experience and have worked with Occupational Health and Safety to ensure proper fan and hood performance.
