Experienced Senior Academic with a record of sustained excellence in the development, design, delivery and management oversight of University teaching, learning and assessment to ensure high quality delivery and excellent student experience. Strong influencing and ambassadorial skills demonstrated throughout two terms of an Associate Dean position at Lancaster University, Interim Dean and Academic Director for UA92 roles as well as over a year as Interim Principal and Accountable Officer of UA92. All of my Work in the development of UA92 since 2016 has been about creating a new, sustainable and relevant curriculum to help students achieve their goals.Significant experience of management and oversight of quality processes in HE with, for example, regular internal and Teaching Partner Quality Review panel chair roles. Regular chair roles for Institutional and Faculty working and steering groups. In addition longstanding membership and regular chair of Institutional Standing Academic Committee.Project oversight experience derived from Project Executive (Sponsor) roles for major Institutional IT projects to launch new on-line UG admissions system, student facing information system (iLancaster), upgrade PG admissions system and procure and launch institutional applicant CRM system.I am the architect and lead for the launch of Sports and Exercise Science at Lancaster University where we welcomed our first cohort of students in October 2018. For UA92 I was the architect and lead for the development of Sports degrees and was the Interim Dean and Academic Director, with oversight of all aspects of the academic activities at this new HEI which opened in September 2019.I now hold the role of Academic Teaching Director for UA92 with oversight of the academic relationship between Lancaster University and UA92.I'm a runner and triathlete, and have a Boston Marathon Qualifying time and I'm presently targeting a London Marathon "Good For Age" qualifying time. To achieve that I need to reduce my Marathon finishing time by 84 seconds.
