Graduated as a B.Sc. Chemical Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan in 1981. After a long career in the oil and gas industry as a reservoir engineer starting with Shell Canada and finishing as the founder of CalPetra Inc., a reservoir engineering consulting agency, Rob has now turned towards the agricultural and forestry industries to provide a biochar product that improves soil productivity and stores atmospheric carbon in the soil. This regenerative carbon creates the physical structure and microbial conditions necessary to sustain beneficial living organisms in the soil that are needed for plants be healthy and nutritious for people.
