I have over 30 years of experience as an electronic technician and have worked in both commercial and military environments. I have enjoyed working on various commercial projects including the design of the once popular Palm III and Palm VII personal digital assistants (PDA’s) which incorporated embedded Mobitex, GSM/GPRS, 802.11b and Bluetooth technologies. I worked on military programs including development of a state of the art ‘lock on after launch’ missiles incorporating spread spectrum communications technology. I also worked at Boeing’s High Technology Center where I collaborated closely with engineers on a LASER RADAR project. I recently worked at SAIC where I assembled and tested critical space flight hardware. I am currently employed at Quest Integrity Group where I am responsible for the Production and Maintenance Department for the NDT (Non-Destructive Test) Reformer tools.I have an extensive background in fabrication, assembly and test of complex electronic hardware and systems. My responsibilities have included component level troubleshooting, rework of state of the art printed circuit assemblies including fine pitch devices, ball grid array (BGA) and column grid arrays (CGA). I am familiar with schematic capture, printed circuit board (PCB) layout and authoring of technical documentation. I am familiar with test equipment including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers and general lab test equipment.
