About Robert Lee

Greetings, Welcome to this window, or indeed door to my world of arts entrepreneur variously artiste manager, consultant, curator, festival director/producer lecturer & media advocate. I spent my youthful career in visual arts began as Education Officer and Curator before becoming more performing arts focused with a strong emphasis on access and diversity. I've produced and managed a number of performing arts events, festivals and venues. I have aided the development of arts organisations, created employment opportunities, offered and received funding and have led complex Change Management strategies in both sport and arts sectors. I have successfully raised fund bringing together public and private sector partnerships, promoted social cohesion, equality & diversity and health & safety became specialties. I have been strategist,programmer, and manager all over the UK and sometimes abroad, added to the portfolio of consultative projects that were too good to walk away from, ranging from international Event Management to Operational, Programme and Project Management, encompassing sport as well as entertainment during the millennium celebrations. I am a divergent educator, keen on legacy, so I've been drawn back into classrooms and lecture theatres for the training of leisure industry staff and managers including the 2012 Olympic preparations. My love of music has underpinned my personal drive to aid the development of new artistic endeavours for those eagerly seeking out the next three minutes of magic, there’s space on the wall for some more gold and platinum disks. Key ambition continues to contribute to the process of a artist development, specializing in independent artists and entertainment products. I love my work in the arts and want to continue doing so until I am totally incapable, because I enjoy what I do - being paid for it is a bonus!Specialties: arts entrepreneur, creative leader producer; cultural policy and strategy driver in the arts; artistic direction with proven skills in: public and private sector management; macro and micro team relationship-building; partnership organisational development; significant curatorial experience; artist & event management planning; music production & tour management; IP and creative industry consultancy; project fund raising; strategic and operational planning, assessment, evaluation and review;
