Appointed by the CIO as the DAA for the CFC Warfighting Command and Control (C2) System called Combined Enterprise Regional Information Exchange Service-Korea (CENTRIXS-K) and the USFK implementation of the Global Command and Control System-Joint (GCCS-J).

I was the Acting Assistant Chief of Staff, J6 for USFK, Acting Deputy Assistant Chief of Staff, C6 for ROK-US Combined Forces Command (CFC), and Acting Assistant Chief of Staff, U6 for United Nations Command Korea (UNCK) from 7 April 2014 through 30 June 2014.

From May 2013 to January 2014, I was the USFK J6 Common Operational Picture (COP) Subject Matter Expert as GS-12, having accepted a two grades downgrade for a position in the Republic of Korea (ROK).From May 2008 to May 2013, I was a team member, then team leader, then Branch Chief, then Deputy Division Chief for two Divisions simultaneously within the Office of the CIO (subsequently, CIO Support Division of the Personnel Information Systems Directorate) within the US Army Human Resources Command focusing upon Requirements Management and Capital Planning and Investment Control/Management (CPIC/M) as GS-13 then GS-14. From December 2003 to January 2007, I was a Project Management Specialist with the Navy Medicine Information Management Center (NMIMC), Bureau of Medicine and Surgery (BUMED) representing NMIMC on the Military Health System (MHS) Enterprise Architecture Board, Configuration Control Board, Personnel Reliability Program IPT, Global Information Grid (GIG) Compliance (Requirements Based) IPT, Tri-care Management Activity (TMA) Technology Integration Working Group, and Composite Health Care System II (CHCS II) IPTs and working groups as GS-12.From July 1999 to June 2001, I was a Senior Functional Analyst with Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) supporting United States European Command (USEUCOM) J3 Commander in Chief Sponsor and Operational Manager for the C4I for Coalition Warfare Advanced Concept Technology Demonstration (ACTD) involving the Multilateral Interoperability Programme (MIP) and the concept development phase of the USEUCOM J6 FY00 Adaptive Battlespace Awareness (ABA) ACTD.

I am a retired US Army Signal Corps Regular Army Lieutenant Colonel having served from 3 June 1978 to 1 August 1998 in various locations in the Continental US, Republic of Korea (South Korea), Germany, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey. Positions I held include Joint Staff Action Officer on the US Joint Staff J6; Architecture and Integration Branch Chief, C/J6/IM for ROK-US CFC/USFK/EUSA; Voice and Data Action Officer, USEUCOM J6; last Commander, Defense Communications Agency (DCA) Field Office-Turkey; S-3 Staff Action Officer, 1st Signal Brigade; Communications Technical Advisor Field Team (TAFT), Office of the Program Manager, Saudi Arabian National Guard Modernization Program (OPM SANG); Assistant Program Manager for the AN/MSQ-103() TEAMPACK, Center for Electronic Warfare/Reconnaissance, Surveillance, and Target Acquisition (EW/RSTA) at US Army Communications Electronics Command (CECOM); Operations Officer, then Commander, 552nd Signal Company, 41st Signal Battalion, 1st Signal Brigade; and Action Officer in the Electro Magnetics Engineering Office (EMEO), US Army Communications Electronics Engineering Installation Agency (USACEEIA).
